Use of the database and the call to action were supported at the recent P&C meeting and we’ve had many positive email responses from our parents. We also had an email from someone in Queensland, calling us ‘nuf nufs’ and offering to educate us in all matters climate. If anyone is keen - please let me know :-)

DEPARTMENT VISIT
Our Ratings & Assessment visit is scheduled for this Friday afternoon, 9th and next Monday morning, 12th. This is a standard procedure for all OSHC centres and as it’s our first time, we’re seeing it as a great opportunity to learn. So, if you see our staff deep in conversation with someone you don’t recognise, that’s why… And don’t worry, we’ve rostered on extra staff to maintain supervision.

City2Surf
Good luck to all the families taking part in City2Surf on Sunday, especially those raising money for great causes. If you have any photos you’d like to share with the Hive community, please send ‘em in!

We hope your older ones are enjoying the new offerings: Thursday excursions across the road; Wednesday Wheels Day Y3-6; Tuesday mini-projects starting with Woodwork next week! Please let us know what you and the kids think of the new plans: the more you tell us, the better we can be.
