Our daughter loved her two years at the Hive before we moved to a new area.

The educators are fun, energetic and enthusiastic, the before and after school care and holidays programs are well organised and full of fun activities, sports and excursions, and they really get to know the kids. Our daughter didn’t like being dropped off in the morning in her Kindy year and the staff were so kind and patient with her that she didn’t want to leave by the time we came to pick her up in the afternoon! I can’t recommend them highly enough!

My two children attended the Hive for 5 years.  It was a wonderful experience for both of them. They always came home with smiling faces and interesting stories. They loved all the educators who were very kind and respectful. It was always very well organised with lots of fun activities including sports and games. We would also recommend the Holiday Program as a lot of thought and organisation goes into the various activities and excursions. We always found the Hive to be professionally run, with love and care for the kids and a sense of fun and humour. It was an experience the kids will never forget. Highly recommended.

On 9th June 2021 there was a large fire at our school. It happened in an area of school that we weren’t using, but it still meant we had to carry out a full emergency evacuation, in growing darkness, for 71 children.

We collected all the lovely words sent from the community to the Hive team, following the fire and evacuation… ❤️

We’d like to thank you all for being amazing and running at truly awesome program. I remember my aftercare and I was dreading having to send Blayk, BUT what you have created is something completely different. We feel so lucky to have The Hive as our extra care option. Hello Hive!

I wanted to say how much Conor LOVED the [Holiday Program] Magic Day today!  When I picked him up he was in a corner running through his tricks diligently and since then he has had us in awe (and stitches) showing us his 'magic'.  So good to pick him up in such good humour and having concentrated enough to run us through trick after trick so proudly.  Huge thanks for a great day.

Team Hive, 
I was just chatting with an interstate friend about the logistical challenges and unavoidable guilt of being working parents with school-age kids and I found myself gushing about the Hive. 

My friends are stuck with the typical choice of mind-numbing, overcrowded OSHC or somehow finding a way to escape work at 2:30pm to shuttle the kids to activities or home. He heard jealously about all of the opportunities that Isla & Amy have at the Hive, with space to learn, explore and relax in good balance without our intervention. 

The takeover of OSHC and the incredible work you’ve all done since to build the Hive has been an amazing success, with a huge positive impact on our family life. I’m sure the same could be said for families across Bondi Beach.  Thank you, sincerely.
