Term 3 Week 5 - Book Week

HIVE NEWS ::

HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Bookings for our Spring Holiday Program for October will open in Week 7. We’ll let you know exactly when - watch this space!

HELP US DRESS OUR SCARECROW!
We’re doing more and more garden-related activities, working together with the lovely Kate who tends the school gardens. Later in the term, we’ll be making SCARECROWS, and we’d love your help - any old clothes for our scarecrows to wear will be gratefully received. Please bring them in before week 7 - thank you!

CLUB NEWS ::

  • We enjoyed celebrating BOOK WEEK and we loved all the kids’ fantastically creative costumes and the stories behind them!!

  • In ART & CRAFT we built on the book theme - creating our own comic books and pencil cases

  • Our MORNING CREW got busy building their own slides with our colourful blocks, and had lots of giggles tumbling down it!

  • We continued growing the CRYSTALS in Science Cub, and our gardeners were also busy growing - GRASS HEADS!

  • In sports we loved exploring the various new equipment, and had some really cool SOCCER competitions again this week. HANDBALL is as popular as ever and the kids are loving having a whole new batch of balls to bounce around

  • We really got the Seniors involved in their own excursion, taking them to Woolies on the way to the beach, to buy the ingredients to make their own BBQ afternoon tea. They behaved so well, and did The Hive and BBPS proud!

PARENT REMINDERS ::
