We’ll all miss you very much… x

SPRING IS HERE!
Congrats to all the children who took their Hive-made kites to FESTIVAL OF THE WINDS on Sunday. Hope you had fun, and we’ve had great feedback on the kites you made - thank you!
Now that the weather’s starting to warm up - please make sure your child brings a hat to school * * NO HAT NO PLAY * *

CLUB NEWS ::

JUNIORS :

  • In ART & CRAFT we experimented with glue and glitter, moulded around balloons, to make our own bowls. Lots of exploring and discovering along the way, and some cool bowls too!

  • We also built on the spring theme, by creating some beautiful, bright recycled butterflies , birds and flowers - check them out on the walls!

  • Y3s joined Ethan for their new WOODWORK CLUB this week - the group will work on a single project until the end of term. We look forward to seeing their creations!

  • In SCIENCE we experimented with different ways to make a parachute to work in the spring breezes. So many of curious minds at work here….

  • We were outside a lot this week, and loved it. SOCCER, BASKETBALL AND HANDBALL were all popular with our younger ones

SENIORS :

  • This week we launched Edie’s WIRE-WORKING CLUB - a 3 week project that our older kids will love

  • Our Thursday EXCURSION was popular as ever - thanks Edie & Bek for giving the kids the opportunity to spread their wings a little
