T1 Weeks 8-9
/👋 LIVE FROM THE HIVE … 👋
PLAYGROUND POSTS
Over the past term, we’ve been sharing special snapshots of your child’s day… photos, learning moments, and little glimpses into their play and projects here at The Hive. We hope you’ve been enjoying this extra window into their world!
We’re always keen to hear your thoughts, so we’ll be sending out a short survey early next term to check in on your experience as parents. We’ll ask what you’re enjoying, what’s not working as well, and what we could improve, so keep an eye out and have a think 😊
FRIENDLY REMINDER
Just a friendly reminder that bikes, scooters and skateboards aren’t allowed to be ridden on school grounds…. this applies to everyone, including parents and younger siblings!

🐝 BEES OF THE WEEK 🐝
Fiona & Febina (Y3)
For being all-round superstars! Always listening to Educators, lending a helping hand, and taking great responsibility with their sunscreen. Well done, girls!
Nico (YK)
For bringing sunshine into the Hive each and every day, and being a wonderful friend to his peers.
Just look at that smile!
🐌 OUR GARDEN 🌿
We are feeling the seasons change in the garden, with the weather cooling, summer harvests coming to an end, and autumn crops being planted. We have been working together to keep the garden thriving, including doing jobs like weeding, raking, watering, and planting seeds. We have been spotting lots of red, orange, and yellow ladybugs in the garden, which is a good sign of a healthy ecosystem.
We’ve been making the most of our garden harvest in Baking Club, using fresh herbs in delicious recipes like breadsticks, rice paper rolls, and garlic bread over the past fortnight. We’ve also enjoyed harvesting radishes and super long snake beans!
