We’re wishing Berit all the very best as she heads off on maternity leave to get ready for the arrival of her little one! 💛 With bub due next month, we’re so excited for her and this next chapter. We’ll be sure to share an update with everyone once we hear the exciting news! Wishing Berit all the love and luck as she gets ready to welcome her baby.

A big Hive welcome to Lottie! 💛 We’re excited to have her joining the team and can’t wait for everyone to get to know her. Here’s a little introduction below from Lottie herself!
Hey everyone, I’m Lottie and I’m from England, I’ve been in Australia for 5 months and I love exploring the beaches, surfing and running! As well as working at The Hive, I play netball in the Premier League, which involves lots of training on court and in the gym! I play GD and GK. I’m looking forward to the season starting again in November, and to running lots of netball sessions at the Hive. I’ve always loved working with children, and before coming Australia I taught Biology & Sports in a boarding school in England.

🎤 THIS FORTNIGHT’S SPOTLIGHT — HARPERS ULTIMATE FRISBEE COMP
Hey guys Leroy here!
Over the weekend we rallied our forces and went to support our fellow hive educator Harper at his All-Stars ultimate frisbee competition in Warriewood where he played for NSW against the Victorian state team. To show their support the Hive kids came together to make some really great signs which we were waving high all game, it must have worked wonders too as NSW came out on top with 20 points to Victorias 17! After the game we even got our banners signed by Harper himself, the MVP of both The Hive and the all-stars match.
We all had a really incredible time showing out to support Harper and spreading some of The Hives enthusiasm, creativity, and spirit, you could really feel a awesome sense of community throughout the evening from Warriewood all the way back to Bondi. You should have seen the look on Harpers face in the wake of the game as he read through all the incredible signs, it said it all. Congratulations Harper!!
A very special afternoon and definitely one worth sharing! 🐝🌟

🐝 BEES OF THE WEEK 🐝
🐝 A special shoutout this week goes to Chloe Kabashima in Year 4 for always showing kindness and care towards our younger children. This was especially evident on Friday, when she showed great initiative by helping create some amazing posters for Harper’s Frisbee Competition! 🥏🎨 We love seeing Chloe’s kindness, creativity and willingness to get involved and help out around The Hive. 💛🐝
