BYE GG!

This fortnight, we’re saying a heartfelt goodbye to our wonderful GG, who’s heading off on an exciting adventure across Europe! GG has been such a huge part of our Hive family over the past few years, always bringing a big smile, boundless energy, and so much heart to everything he does. As our Sports Coordinator and Year 3 Stage Lead, his presence will be deeply missed.

We’re so excited for you, Geeg — what an adventure awaits! Don’t forget to think of us while you're out exploring the world. Safe travels and lots of love from all of us at the Hive! 💛

WHERE IS OUR LOVELY SYD?

Just a quick update on our dearest boss lady Sydney — who has been in Canada the past couple of weeks visiting family and meeting her beautiful new niece! She’ll be back at the centre next Thursday, June 26.

🤒 PLEASE KEEP SICK SICK KIDS AT HOME 🤧

With flu season in full swing and many children already unwell, we kindly ask that you keep sick children at home. We're doing our best to care for all the little ones at The Hive — and to look after our amazing staff too! Thanks for helping us keep everyone healthy.

👨‍🍳 🎨 🎲 WHAT HAVE THE KIDS BEEN UP TO? 🏏 🧸 🧪

Wowee, it sure is COLD at the moment! But it hasn't stopped us from being outside in the winter sunshine... Here's what we've been up to in our ACTIVITY CLUBS:

ART & CRAFT: finger painting, jewellery, nature wands, paper plate fans, popsicle stick fruit slices, origami, crazy hair people AND a super creative nature dragonfly

BAKING CLUB: famous (for a reason!) choc chip cookies and equally delicious milo biccys

SPORTS: kick tennis, oz tag tips, bull rush, ship shark shore, capture the flag, soccer, run for your life, snatch and tunnel ball

EXPLORE & DISCOVER: beyblades, bug hunts, as well as a spectacular TALENT SHOW, and cardboard city creations!!

CONSTRUCTIVE PLAY: legomaster comps, magnatile tower comps, paper planes, KAPLA building and CUBBIES!

MORNING CREW: This fortnight our morning crew danced the macarena, ate huge amounts of cheerios, played on the adventure playground, and created our very own Hive Quiz! Talk about starting the day of with a bang!!

This fortnight we celebrate Billy, who consistently shows kindness, thoughtfulness, and always makes great choices. He leads by example and brings a gentle, caring spirit to our centre every day!

Stevie (Y3)

For leading her fun and super popular origami sessions every Friday afternoon! Thank you, Stevie — you’re doing such an amazing job, and the other children are absolutely loving it. Well done for showing such fantastic initiative and leadership!
