Term 2 Week 4

It's been a good week for behaviour in The Hive, with our kids listening well and playing safely. This gives us all more time to focus on having loads of fun - keep it up kids! And thank you parents for your support when there are matters we need to discuss with you. 

WELCOME:: to our new Educators Ziggy, Lily and Julio, who's already been a big hit with his volleyball coaching sessions for the older kids.

CLUB NEWS::
Baking Club returned to an old favourite this week - Britt's delicious chocolate brownie recipe! The Kindys are loving having access to this club now, and are baking up a storm!

Off the back of a hugely successful incursion during Holiday Program, we invested in a giant box of 1000 KAPLA blocks. Our kids love it so much and this is currently the favourite game in the mornings, alongside the art & craft table. 

Art & Craft Club this week explored a range of techniques for creating their masterpieces, favourites being blow-painting and roller printing.

In Science, our lego construction competition was won by Jamie in YrK - check out the picture on our picture board.

Seniors have enjoyed having all the extra new pogo sticks to play with. And their Science activity with make your own Air Clay was so much fun that we extended it for the younger kids too.
